Hamburg Ballett: Asia Tour 2019
Packed with three different ballets and one ballet gala the tour started on March 13, 2019 at Hong Kong Arts Festival. After nine performances, the journey went on to Beijing where the dancers thrilled the audience in three evening shows of “Lady of the Camelias”.
Transport via ocean and air freight
In addition to the ballet’s 133 employees, numerous props, costumes and technical equipment had to be brought to China. One part of the freight was already set off by sea weeks before, the other by air freight. Together with Nutcracker Fritz, who honored us with a visit, we prepared the corresponding Carnet A.T.A. documents as well. You can view the complete photo series of the preparations on our Instagram page.
We were absolutely happy working with HEED! The transports were on time and customs clearance of the various shipments which was particularly tricky during this tour went smoothly, too. We were always kept up to date and I value the accommodating and sympathetic communication. We can definitely recommend HEED!

In the meantime the dancers, the freight as well as charming Nutcracker Fritz arrived back home safely. For further insights into the ballet performances in Hamburg, the international tours and the work of John Neumeier have a look at the Hamburg Ballett website.
